Your pendant light should be 40 to 70 cm shorter than your dining table. If people sit at the ends, go for the shorter option so nobody bumps their head when getting up.

Sehr schönes edles und puristisches Design. Schönes Licht mit Einstellung der Lichtwärme von grellweiß bis warm rötlich. Einfache Montage und kinderleichte Einstellung der Höhe. Selbst unsere 195cm Tara ist überraschend leicht und hält somit an jeder Decke problemlos (bei uns Rigips) Wir würden sie sofort wieder bestellen.
Eine sehr schöne Lampe, sauber gearbeitet, gibt warmes Licht. Und die Montage ist in der Tat sehr einfach, es ist alles durchdacht vorbereitet (Kabelanschlüsse, Durchgang für Kabel am Baldachin, Befestigung des Baldachins, Aufhängung). Wir sind sehr zufrieden und freuen uns!

Schöne Pendelleuchte die ein angenehmes Licht abgibt. Ich finde, das man das Toplicht mitbestellen sollte.
Die Installation war einfach aber die Anleitung ausbaufähig da die Zusatzbeleuchtung nicht enthalten ist.
Die Lampe übertrifft unsere Erwartungen und ist ein sehr gutes Produkt, optisch wie funktional und auch qualitativ. Die Lichtstärke und -qualität ist sehr gut und variabel genug, der Tisch (1.9m) wird in Länge und Breite sehr gut ausgeleuchtet. Die Lampe sieht gut aus, und man findet schnell die passende Beleuchtung.
Systembedingt wird man die Lampe nicht dauernd in der Höhe verstellen, denn das Austarieren danach dauert immer ein bisschen. Auch haben zumindest wir 2 Drahtenden, die - je nach eingestellter Höhe - aus den kleinen Kugeln nach unten herausschauen. Wir haben vorübergehend rechts und links eine kleine Modellbahnmuffe mit Schraube am Ende befestigt, damit das Kabel nicht herausrutschen kann; hier könnte man sicher etwas Schöneres installieren, z.B. eine gleiche chromfarbene Kugel. Auf dem einen Foto habe ich zur besseren Sichtbarkeit die Drähte herunterhängen lassen, auf den anderen Fotos durch die kleinen Holztiere verdeckt. Nicht optimal: Ohne diesen Schmuck sieht man diese Drähte deutlich, vor allem, wenn man die Lampe noch höher hängt. Wir haben die Drahtlänge so bemessen, dass die Drähte bei tiefster Einstellung der Lampe gerade noch zu sehen sind. Auf dem Bild ist die Lampenhöhe genau richtig für eine größere Runde. Vielleicht gibts da eine gute Lösung, die ich nicht kenne/sehe?
Wir sind sehr glücklich mit der Lampe, und unsere Besucher haben nur positive Rückmeldungen gegeben. Der Preis ist günstig.

Auch mega, die Oberflächenbehandlung mit Hartwachsöl passend zu den Gegebenheiten hier vor Ort abzustimmen. Die Lampe fügt sich wirklich klasse ins Gesamtbild. Der Elektriker, der mir mit dem Setzen des Kabelkanals geholfen hat, wollte die Marke wissen, weil man seiner Meinung nach sofort sieht, dass es keine Massenware und sich um extrem hochwertiges Holz handelt. Auch die Elektronik ist absolut State-of-the-art. Ich bin also rundum glücklich und möchte an dieser Stelle die schnelle, freundliche und kompetente Kommunikation mit Knud und Fynn erwähnen.
Hier wird noch Qualität groß geschrieben, ich würde jederzeit wieder kaufen!

Die moderne Leuchte fügt sich harmonisch in unser Bauernhaus ein. Die geräucherte Eiche trifft dabei von der Erscheinung 1a den Eichentisch darunter. Wir haben das steuerbare Licht nicht ändern müssen für eine wunderbare Wärme. Das dezente Uplight nur in der Mitte lässt das superschöne Holz der Leuchte voll zur Geltung kommen.
Auf der Suche nach Leuchten aus Holz und nach Möglichkeit nicht aus China, entdeckte ich Speicherart.de. Nachdem wir uns noch das Video zur Entstehung angesehen hatten stand der Entschluss fest, hier Leuchten zu bestellen sofern uns diese zusagen. Letzteres war der Fall. Mit Hilfe von KI probierten wir welches Design zu unserem zu Hause am besten passt und entschieden uns für die Serie Tara. In 2 verschiedenen Längen bestellten wir uns dieses Modell. Nach der Montage, welche gut von der Hand geht da auch hier mitgedacht wurde bezüglich der Handhabung, vorallem im Baldachin ( oftmals so eng und knapp das man kaum mit den Fingern an die Anschlüsse kommt) waren wir sofort sehr zufrieden mit unserer Wahl. Hilfreich waren auch die Hinweise/ Empfehlungen für die zur Auswahl stehenden Längen im Verhältnis zum darunter befindlichen Tisch. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und die ersten Besuche waren ebenfalls sehr angetan von den Leuchten. Fazit: wirklich handwerklich tadellose Ware, Bestellung und Versand ebenfalls alles ohne Kritikpunkte. Wer sich für Leuchten aus Holz interessiert sollte sich unbedingt mit den Produkten von Speicherart.de befassen. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

How high should the pendant light hang above the dining table?
We recommend a gap of about 60 to 70 cm between the tabletop and the bottom edge of the light. This lights the table well without glare. In open-plan living spaces it can hang a little higher.
What length should my pendant light be?
As a rule of thumb, your pendant light should be 40 to 70 cm shorter than your dining table. If people sit at the ends of the table, go for the shorter option so nobody bumps their head when getting up.
The Tara comes in lengths from 80 to 195 cm, with a width of 4.0 cm and a thickness of 5.5 cm. The canopy measures 45 × 6 × 5 cm. Depending on the length, it weighs between 1.27 kg (80 cm) and 3.09 kg (195 cm).
How high or low can I hang the pendant light?
Upwards, the light can be pulled right up to the ceiling. The standard cable length is 2 metres. On request we can make a drop of up to 3.5 m, and beyond that with a thicker cable. Simply enter the length you'd like in the order note.
Can I still adjust the height after installation?
Yes. The pendant light is height-adjustable even after installation, either via two pins on the canopy for occasional adjustments or directly above the light for frequent adjustments.
Can I install the pendant light on a sloping ceiling?
Yes. The canopy can also be mounted on a sloping ceiling. You compensate for the different cable lengths using the height adjustment, so the light hangs level.
Can the cable be fed into the canopy from the side?
Yes. If your ceiling outlet isn't above the position you want, the cable can be fed into the canopy from the side, for example with a so-called cable swag, so the light hangs centred above your dining table.
How long does installation take?
The light arrives ready to install. Allow about 30 to 45 minutes for installation. You'll find the guide in our instructions.

How bright is the Tara?
The brightness depends on the length: 80 cm 1,610 lm, 100 cm 2,070 lm, 120 cm 2,530 lm, 150 cm 3,220 lm, 180 cm 3,680 lm and 195 cm 3,970 lm. You can set the light colour continuously from 2200 K (warm white) to 6000 K (cool white), and the colour rendering is over 94 Ra.
Is the pendant light dimmable and can I use my wall dimmer?
Yes, the pendant light is dimmable. You can switch it on and off as usual with your light switch. However, conventional rotary dimmers aren't compatible with the LED technology. For this we have our own rotary dimmer switch that connects to the light wirelessly.
Can I switch the uplight and main light separately?
Yes. With the uplight upgrade, the main light and the indirect uplight can be switched and dimmed separately, via remote control or smart home. Our instructions show you how.
Is the pendant light smart home compatible?
Yes, simply choose the ‘Smart Home’ option in the product variant above. You can then control the light via the Tuya app and connect it to Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Zigbee integration is available on request; please get in touch with us before you order.
Does the light remember the last setting?
Yes. The pendant light has a memory function and remembers the brightness and light colour, even when you switch it off at the light switch.
Why does the light have such a low energy class?
Since 2021 a new, much stricter energy scale has applied. Many LED lights rated F or G today used to be rated A+ or better. That doesn't mean they've got worse: LEDs in classes F and G are still among the most economical light sources available.

Which wood types can I choose from?
Depending on the model, the light is available in oak, smoked oak, walnut, ash and beech. Feel free to order our free wood samples in advance. Other finishes are possible on request; just send us a picture at kontakt@speicherart.de.
How do I care for the wood?
The solid wood is finished with natural linseed oil. Dust is best removed with a soft, dry cloth. To keep the wood looking beautiful for many years, we recommend our Ameno wood care balm.
Is the light source replaceable and included?
The LED light source is already built in, so you don't need anything else. It has a lifespan of over 50,000 hours and is replaceable, just like every other component. Replacement is handled by us or by a specialist electrical retailer.
On top of that, you get a free 5-year warranty on the light source worth €79, including shipping both ways.
Can I customise my pendant light?
Yes. In our light configurator you can put together your own pendant light, from the wood type to the length.
When will my light arrive?
You'll find the current delivery time above, below the basket button. We make individually configured lights especially for you, so the delivery time is usually 10 to 14 working days. We ship with GLS.
What happens if it's damaged in transit?
Please get in touch with us directly, ideally with a few photos. Together we'll quickly find a solution.
Can I return the light?
Yes. You have 101 days after receipt to return the light free of charge. Simply let us know in writing that you're withdrawing from the purchase, and we'll refund all payments within 14 days. The light should show no signs of use. More about returns
