Wooden ceiling lights: even light with natural character

The ceiling light provides a room's main lighting and so shapes its entire atmosphere. Conventional ceiling lights often feel cold and purely functional. A wooden ceiling light, on the other hand, brings warmth and a natural touch to the ceiling, even when the light is off. That's why we make our LED ceiling light Ida by hand in our workshop in Kiel.

Solid wood frame meets modern LED technology

Ida features a 30 × 30 cm LED panel set in a precisely crafted solid wood frame (40 × 45 mm). Together, this gives compact outer dimensions of 35 × 35 cm. We make the frame in your choice of oak, smoked oak, walnut, beech or ash. Because every wood has its own grain, each light is one of a kind.

From warm, cosy light to bright daylight

The colour temperature can be adjusted from 2200 to 6500 Kelvin: cosy and warm in the evening in the living room or bedroom, clear and bright during the day in the hallway or workspace. With 1,700 lumens at just 18 watts, the LED ceiling light illuminates rooms evenly while keeping energy consumption low.

Long-lasting and suitable for all dry indoor spaces

With a rated lifespan of 35,000 hours, the light will accompany you for many years. Thanks to its IP20 protection rating, the wooden ceiling light is suitable for all dry indoor spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways or studies.

Caring for your wooden ceiling light

A dry, soft dust cloth is all you need for cleaning. Avoid wet cloths and harsh cleaners. If you'd like to refresh the grain after a few years, you can treat the wooden frame with a very thin coat of natural wood oil.
