Super Pflegemittel: Sehr ergiebig und komplett aufgebraucht! Die relativ kleine Menge hat für einige Brettchen und Holzgegenstände genügt um sie wieder glatt und wasserabweisend zu bekommen, u.a. 6 kleine Frühstücksbrettchen, 6 grossse runde Fühstücksbrettchen, 6 große Schneidbretter, 8 Holzlöffel (4 Esslöffel, 4 Teelöffel), eine Servierschale, eine Tortillapresse.

Der Holzbalsam hat einen wunderbaren "orangigen" Duft! Nach der Behandlung hatte unser antiker Eichenholztisch wieder eine sehr schöne satte Holzmaserung. Der sogenannte (Holz)balsam ist jedoch ein bisschen fest - ich habe ihn vor dem Auftragen erst in mit meinen Fingern "geschmeidig geknetet". Ein ganz tolles Bioprodukt!!!

Es ist ähnlich wie farblose Schuhcreme zu verarbeiten, riecht angenehm und die Oberfläche sieht mit einem Hauch von Honigfarbton wunderschön aus. Ich musste es aber nach Tagen doch nachpolieren, da man sich sonst Hände oder Papier fettig machen würde. Nach dem Polieren gefällt mir die Haptik besser und die Oberfläche fühlt sich wieder "trocken" an.

Product & application

Is the wood wax food-safe?

Yes. Ameno consists only of organic linseed oil and beeswax from a beekeeper in the neighbouring village. All ingredients are natural and food-safe.

Why wood wax and not just wood oil?

It's the combination that makes the difference: the oil brings out the grain and colour, the wax seals the pores. Together they create a protective layer that makes your wood more resistant to liquids and wear.

How do I prepare the surface?

The surface should be clean and dry. For an even better result, lightly sand it beforehand with fine sandpaper and remove the dust. Then massage the wax in with a lint-free cloth.

What is Ameno suitable for?

For heavily used wooden surfaces, such as furniture, lights or cutting and serving boards. Fading and water stains are significantly reduced.

How much is in a tin?

A tin contains 50 ml.
